Bi-Directional
Zenicon™ Thermocomposite is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT) composite panel. It is made of thermoplastic resins and fiberglass reinforcement in a 0-90 orientation to provide a cost-effective, lightweight, high strength layered material for a variety of applications.
Each Zenicon layer consists of a fiber and resin matrix. Two plys are consolidated in a 0-90 bidirectional configuration to produce one Zenicon bi-directional layer. Zenicon can be produced up to four bi-directional layers to produce a required Zenicon panel thickness. Zenicon is available in widths up to 106" (2.69 m).
