 Kemlite Scuffplate Panels is specifically designed to protect the lower portion of sidewall liner panels. Although our scuffplate is lighter in weight than traditional materials, its durability minimized the damage caused by loading equipment and pallets.
Scuffplate panels are extra-durable, semi-rigid frp. They are tough, hard, and dimensionally stable, with excellent resistance to moisture and mild chemicals.
- High strength-to-weight ratio with an expansion/contraction value similar to that of aluminum
- Available in thicknesses of: 0.120", 0.175", 0.240" - it's the thickest family of thermoset scuff panels in the industry
- Ideally used over frp/plywood or where a thin, high impact resistant wear band is required
Products
Embossed ArmorTuf with Integral Scuff (EAIS)
A lightweight, ultra high-impact liner panel. When installed, the result is a sidewall with a built-in protective wearband either 12" or 24" high.
GatorPlate (EGAT)
Embossed GatorPlate contains a higher glass content meaning it has a higher impact and puncture resistance than conventional frp. It is specifically designed and formulated for use as a scuffplate in high abuse areas of trailers, containers, railcars, and trucks bodies.
Monster Scuff (STI)
Specifically engineered for use as a scuffplate for refrigerated and dry van trailers, containers, and rail cars. Monster Scuff is a thick, tough, hard, and impact resistant scuffplate - dimensionally stable in all environments. It provides greater protection against dents and tears.
