An example of how the Voice of the Customer inspires us is our building products market. Glasbord® fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) is a tough, moisture-resistant and easy-to-install wall and ceiling panel. It's sealed, protective, engineered finish offers a number of advantages that make it superior to other products. It is resistant to scratches, abrasion, staining, and damage due to harsh chemicals, and it is easy to clean. These characteristics have helped Glasbord FRP find wide acceptance in a number of unseen parts of commercial establishments such as restaurants and healthcare facilities. Listening to the Voice of the Customer, Crane Composites learned of the need for FRP with the same durable qualities, but with a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, for its customers' public areas. It was redesigned and engineered into products that simulate wood, tile, and textured finishes, enabling practical, code-complaint and attractive alternatives to the wall finishes traditionally used in public areas.
