Short Shipments

Short shipments must be reported to Crane Composites within 48 hours of receipt of order.

Sign the carrier Delivery Receipt that the shipment was short.
Send the information to the Crane Composites VOC Department with the Delivery Receipt and packing slip two ways

- On-line form below

Crane Composites standard freight terms are FOB Shipping Point (orgin), Freight Collect. This means that the title and all responsibility associated with title change will transfer to the buyer as products leave the Crane Composites' dock. FOB shipping point also holds the buyer responsible for filling all freight claims in the event of receiving freight damage. For FOB Destination claims, click here.

Type of Short Shipment:

	Review the packing list, are any of the missing items marked as backordered? If so, contact your ISR to find out the ship date of the backordered material.
	Some of the material was lost in transit. Please see above about submitting your own claim for FOB Shipping Point.
	Crane Composites did not ship all of the material that was on the packing list (see the Bill of Lading to compare).
	The packing list does not include all the material that I ordered.
